Lynne Lloyd (57) from Essex is set to put the pedal to the metal in the off-road experience of a life time. A true adrenaline junkie, Lynne has always wanted to learn how to drive a 4x4 and will now undertake an extreme off-road driving course, thanks to the Think Again Fund.

So, the driving day arrived and with it 3 inches of snow to make things interesting! Indeed it was a challenge just to get up the hill from the B&B - a Landrover would have been very useful at that moment but, never mind, we had a farmer with a JCB to help us!
Eventually we arrived at Oulton Park in a blizzard and made our way to the Mudmaster or should that have been Snowmaster course. After a short briefing, I was allowed to take control of the wheel and we set off along the muddy tracks through the woods.
What great fun - accelerating through the very muddy river, climbing up over steep, slippery blind summits and keeping the wheels balanced on 2 logs. Concentration was the order of the day but I was certainly grinning from ear to ear all the way round.
I was so happy to have finally done what I’ve always wanted to do. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable day.
Wow Lynne your day must have been awesome!
